Pat Reese Slipcovers and Window Fashions makes custom
slipcovers, bedding, window treatments and other items. We measure
and install all of our own work.
The
first step in ordering custom covers is selection of the
fabric. There are yardage requirements on our price
list (click here) . Fabric can be selected from our samples
and we will try to make this as convenient as possible. Sometimes
we mail or send cuttings to a customer who is too busy or
too far from our shop.
Fabric
can be furnished by the customer from another source, if
a release is signed against any flaws, creasing, shrinkage
or other difficulties that require more time than usual.
Fabric can be provided pre-washed by us or can be pre-washed
by the customer.
Upon
beginning an order for custom slipcovers, we prefer to pin
and cut the covers on site, in the customer’s home
or other location, rather than move furniture. This means
that our customers do not have to be without the use of their
furniture at all. Old covers should be removed and obstructions
around the furniture cleared prior to a cutting appointment.
Pinning and cutting of a cover takes approximately one hour
per item. Installation takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Completion
of the work takes three to six weeks. Payment of 50% is expected
when work is ordered, with the balance of the order and sales
tax paid upon completion.

Dear Pat, I've
written this recommendation of your work to share with other
LinkedIn users.
Details of the Recommendation: "I
happened to be able to hear Pat discuss care of antique fabrics
at the Comanche, Texas women's club in 2007. Her visual aids;
her year's of experience; her enthusiastic presentation style
all contributed to a feeling that I was in the presence of
a mature expert in the field."
